James is a graduate student and Australian Fulbright Scholar in the Engineering Systems Laboratory. His research is focussed on physics-based market modelling of satellite-based internet providers. His previous research work includes the hydrodynamics of floating platforms, supersonic jet noise, and Martian space lasers. In 2021 he graduated from the University of Western Australia with First Class Honours in Mechanical Engineering and Finance. James is the creator of the popular engineering YouTube channel Atomic Frontier.
