Chloé Gentgen
PhD Candidate
Chloe Gentgen is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at MIT and a Research Assistant in the Engineering Systems Lab.
Her research focuses on space systems engineering, mission architecture, uncertainty quantification, and multi-disciplinary optimization for planetary science missions. Chloe graduated with her M.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT in 2022, researching tradespace exploration and design optimization of propulsion systems for small satellites. Prior to MIT, she received a B.S. and M.S. in Engineering from Ecole Centrale Paris, Paris-Saclay University in France. Her past experience includes internships at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Thales Alenia Space.
